West Canada
Christian Resources is a 501-c-3, not-for-profit educational
corporation founded in Newport, New
York in 2001 for the purpose of promoting Christian Values in
the Kuyahoora Valley. In 2003, West Canada Christian
Resources received a license from the Federal Communications
Commission to operate WKUY-LP, a lower power FM radio station
from its offices at 7389 West Street, in Newport, New York,
with transmitter facilities located on Cooper Road in the town
of Norway, New York. WKUY-LP, on 106.1 FM is presently the main
service of West Canada Christian
Resources.
